Tartar and (Teeth Cleaning)
For tartar cleaning, ultrasonic devices are used to remove large tartar from teeth through vibrations. Then, small pieces are cleaned with thin hand tools.
The dentist continues the process until the tooth surface is smooth. Then, the teeth are polished with a polishing procedure. As a result, the factors that cause gingivitis are eliminated.
After the tartar is completely removed, the polishing process is called dental polishing. In this 15-20 minute process, the dentist polishes each tooth individually with an electric brush.
In this process, plaque, stains and food residues that stick to the teeth and cause discoloration in the mouth and teeth are cleaned using a special polishing paste similar to a toothbrush.
